2008 Christmas in Aggieland Christmas Ornament “ATM”
East Texas Easter Seals, Brazos Valley Rehabilitation Center, is proud to
offer its sixteenth ornament in its Christmas in Aggieland Ornament
series. Since 1876, Texas A&M University has developed a rich
heritage that has helped to develop character, leadership, unity, and public
service in all its graduates. It is known for being steeped with
traditions that facilitates A&M's history and helps ensure the Aggie
Spirit burns in every Aggie's heart. While there are many honored
traditions, none are more recognizable than the block A&M Logo. In
1964, the Legislature of the State of Texas changed the Agricultural and
Mechanical College of Texas to the Texas A&M University, and the new
logo, the “block T” ATM was
introduced.
